Inscription: 'BONAPARTE Reipublicae Italianae PRAESES.'* With pencil the length of the square with sides tangent to the medal is indicated at right as pa ('a' superscripted) 3 3/4. Above in the center the caption: 'destra.' On the other side is the reverse, caption written by Giani with pencil - as the other - 'Ebe da l'imortalità a Origa** d'ercole.' Hebe sitting embraced probably by Ares upon a couch, holds a pitcher and the bowl, from which the kneeling Hercules is drinking immortality. In the background is the biga, with a genius holding the horse. Dimension written as at the other side., * R - I may stand for Re d'Italia (PDM '79), **Origa (chariot driver), The verso may be variant for a similar subject in the palazzo Gessi
