Award-winning artist Michelle Nguyen creates ultra-realistic flowers from sugar. Melbourne-based Michelle started as a business student at university before taking an interest in books at the library which illustrated wildlife and flowers, which she would sketch. After being influenced by wedding magazines depicting cakes adorned with sugar flowers, Michelle decided to take a course, before gaining confidence to enter sugar flower competitions.
