The Port Security and Resiliency Assessment (PSRA) prepare a Parrot drone in Agana Boat Basin in Guam on Dec. 7, 2022, as they conduct comprehensive assessments of the commercial ports and other critical maritime infrastructure to provide insight into potential vulnerabilities and recommendations to mitigate any threats. The team consists of experts and technical specialists from the U.S. Coast Guard and the Army National Guards Critical Infrastructure Protection Battalion who apply their operations and emergency response backgrounds to these assessments.

This small system only requires two Marines to operate and will be a game-changing capability for our distributed forces. Fielding this capability is a critical step in setting conditions for the development of the ULS-A Medium system, which is the required capability for large-scale tactical distribution in a contested space.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - An engineer from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center watches the landing of remote-controlled aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with a unique set of sensors and software and was assembled by a team of engineers for a competition at the agency's Kennedy Space Center. Teams from Johnson Space Center and Marshall Space Flight Center joined a Kennedy team in competing in an unmanned aerial systems event to evaluate designs and work by engineers learning new specialties. The competition took place at the Shuttle Landing Facility at Kennedy.

The Alta-X aircraft flies by the former space shuttle hangar at NASAs Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California, as part of the Advanced Exploration of Reliable Operation at Low Altitudes: Meteorology, Simulation and Technology campaign. The campaign was at NASA Armstrong Flight to study wind from the ground to 2,000 feet to provide data to assist future drones to safely land on rooftop hubs called vertiports and to potentially improve weather prediction.
