Abraham Lincoln is currently conducting tailored ship's training availability and final evaluation problem (TSTA/FEP). TSTA prepares the ship and crew for full integration into a carrier strike group through a wide range of mission-critical operations.

ARABIAN SEA (Feb. 19, 2020) An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Fighting Checkmates of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211 launches from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) in the Arabian Sea, Feb. 19, 2020. The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.

A Strike Squadron 151 (VFA-151) F/A-18A Hornet aircraft flown by CAPT Patrick D. Moneymaker, the commander of Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14), comes to a halt after making an arrested landing on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS MIDWAY (CV-41). PACIFIC OCEAN (July 6, 2021) An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Bounty Hunters” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 2 is directed off the flight deck runway of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), July 6, 2021. Carl Vinson is currently underway conducting routine maritime operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet.

The GHWBCSG is an integrated combat weapons system that delivers superior combat capability to deter, and if necessary, defeat America's adversaries in support of national security. Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 is the offensive air and strike component of CSG-10 and the George H.W. Bush CSG. The squadrons of CVW-7 are VFA-143, VFA-103, VFA-86, VFA-136, Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 140, Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 121, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 5, and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46.
