Clarence House The Drawing Room -- The walls are painted ivory and pale grey, and ceilings designed by Nash for the original house in 1825, are picked out in gold, The furniture was all given to their Royal Highnesses on their marriage. The upholstery takes its colours from the pastel shades of the two fins Aubusson carpets, in which mushroom pink and Aquamarine predominate. June 1, 1952.

Regency Treasures On View At BrightonThe Dolphin furniture in the exhibition at the Royal Pavilion. This suite, lent by the Admiralty, is probably the most important set of Regency furniture in existence. It was presented in 1813 to Greenwich Hospital in memory of Nelson.H.R.H. The Duchess of Kent today opens the Regency Festival Exhibition in the Royal Pavilion, Brighton. The King and Queen have lent porcelain of the Period, and, by permission of the Admiralty, the famous Dolphin furniture commemorating Nelson's victories is also on view, with many other treasures of the period.
