Alone, the CERF-P searched over 200 boats either wrecked or stranded in Boot Key Harbor in the wake of Hurricane Irma.

RIO DE JANEIRO - U.S. Navy divers, assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 2 (MDSU-2) watch as their Brazilian counterparts conduct a demonstration during UNITAS LXIII, Sept. 14, 2022. UNITAS is the worlds longest-running maritime exercise. The MK 16 MOD 1 is a re-breathable underwater system that minimizes surface bubbles during operations. Company 2-5 is assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1, which provides mine counter-measure, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), salvage-diving, counter-terrorism, and force protection for the U.S. 5th Fleet.

Firefighters wearing cold-water immersion protective suits hold surface ice rescue training Jan. 11, 2023, at Big Sandy Lake at Fort McCoy, Wis., for members of the Fort McCoy Directorate of Emergency Services Fire Department. The training was done in conjunction with ice rescue training for the department's dive team where a simulated underwater victim was also rescued by a diver.
