CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Astronauts from Space Shuttle Atlantis STS-135 mission return to the Training Auditorium at NASAs Kennedy Space Center for the traditional post-flight crew return presentation. Crew members autograph mementos for attendees following a presentation about the astronauts' experiences on the mission. The 165th Airlift Wing members hosted a 9/11 Memorial 5K race on September 10, 2022 at Savannah Air National Guard Base, Georgia to honor those lost as we commemorate the 21st year since the September 11, 2001 attacks. The 5k race gave the military, firefighters, and local community an opportunity to demonstrate their respect and memorialize those who were lost during the attacks on September 11, 2001. Installation community members participate in the 2022 Fort McCoy Christmas Tree Lighting Event festivities Dec. 1, 2022, at McCoys Community Center at Fort McCoy, Wis. March 13, 2015 "While we were visiting Phoenix, the President made a side trip to visit Sgt. 1st Class Cory Remsburg, a wounded warrior that he had first met in Normandy before he was injured and, then again at Walter Reed hospital after he had been injured in Afghanistan. Cory and his father, Craig Remsburg, greeted the President at Cory's newly finished home in Gilbert. Earlier in the day, Cory had received the keys to the house, which was purchased by the Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund and renovated with the help of Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors."

YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 25, 2022) Members of the CFAY community participate in the annual Pride March and Festival onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) to recognize the LGBTQ community members serving in the armed forces. The celebration acknowledging LGBTQ members was spearheaded by junior Sailors from the U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka and the CFAY Multicultural Committee and included a colorful march to Kosano Park, support service booths, games, music, food, and refreshments. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.

Installation community members participate in the 2022 Fort McCoy Christmas Tree Lighting Event festivities Dec. 1, 2022, at McCoys Community Center at Fort McCoy, Wis.
