A rectangular, high box with a slightly splashing lid of paintwork with inlay of gold and silver foil and mother-of-pearl, with a picture of Kujaku Myoo on the lid, a figure with six arms of which two for the chest are folded and four a bow, two Holding arrows, a Vajra and a trident, sitting on a peacock with spread tail feathers that stands on a lotus pattern, with a lot of lotus plants in water on the sides of the box. The edges of lid and box with a silver border, the inside decorated with Nashiji, on the inside of the lid in gold makie the signature 'shosai' and in red the seal 'shosai'. In a wooden box with inscription on the lid 'Kujaku Myoo Makie Tebako' and on the side of the lid a paper label with inscription 'Shirayama Shosai'.
