SpaceX Crew-6 Flight Readiness Review. Mission managers with NASA, SpaceX, and international partners gather to complete a Flight Readiness Review on Feb. 21, 2023, for NASAs SpaceX Crew-6 mission to the International Space Station. Inter-American Defense College held its World Situation Conference on Fort Lesley J. McNair in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 8-10, 2023. During their conference Participants engaged in a strategic-level analysis organized by Brazilian Army and professor Col. Fábio Araújo. The conference offered students a global and sub-regional understanding of geo-politics, enabling them to analyze various aspects such as politics, socio-cultural factors, economics, defense, security, science, technology, key nations, state actors, regional alliances, and governmental or international non-governmental organizations. U.S. Air Force Medical Home personnel attend a four-day AFMH Operations course for initial indoctrination or refresher training, April 28, 2022, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. A Fort McCoy Directorate of Human Resources leader who helped organize the training said the training is good for the Fort McCoy workforce because it specifically shows the workforce that regardless of age, rank, or status, its always good to be a lifelong learner. And that leader said its also important for government employees to remember they serve. They serve the employee first, taxpayers, service members, family members, and the country. And the leader said that being a servant leader is about who you are, not what you do.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Students representing a team from Merritt Island High School present their StangSat concepts to NASA engineers at a Critical Design Review in the Operations and Checkout Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.StangSat is one of many CubeSats under development in a class of research spacecraft called nanosatellites. The cube-shaped satellites measure about 4 inches on each side, have a volume of about 1 quart and weigh less than 3 pounds. To date, 27 CubeSats have launched through the initiative as part of the agency's Launch Services Program's Educational Launch of Nanosatellite Program. This year, four separate launches will carry 17 CubeSats.

NASAs Ground Systems Development and Operations Program (GSDO) participates in a “Be Wise” program at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego, California. GSDO participated in several outreach events to students and the general public before the start of the Orion Underway Recovery Test 5 (URT-5) using a test version of the Orion crew module in the Pacific Ocean. URT-5 will allow NASA and the U.S. Navy to demonstrate and evaluate the recovery processes, procedures, hardware and personnel necessary for recovery of the Orion crew module on its return from a deep space mission.
