Matthew Headrick, a Military Educator at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, presents a history program to students at Nansemond River High School regarding African Americans in the U.S. Navy. The history program that was presented is aligned with the Virginia Department of Education curriculum standards, and is a component of the museums educational programs for area students and is provided without cost.
