Athlone's View Australian Art In London -- The Earl and Countess of Athlone and Mrs. Thomas Dunbabin (left foreground) wife of the Director of News and Information at Australia House who welcomed them, admiring 'The Adoration of the Kings', a triptych for church by M. D. Parton, which is in the collection of Mr. Peter Bellew.The Earl of Athlone and Princess Alice Countess of Athlone were visitors to the Exhibition of Contemporary Australian Art now taking place in the Exhibition Hall of Australia House, London. (It was arranged by the Australian News and Information Bureau).The display was previously sent to the UNESCO Conference in Paris to show the more modern, and sometimes modernistic, side of contemporary Australian painting.
