reliefs inside the Pyramid Complex of Unas, at Saqqara, near Cairo in Egypt. It was built for pharaoh Unas, the ninth and final king of the Fifth Dynasty in the mid 24th century BC. the pyramid of Unas is the first to have texts on the walls of its burial chambers. The spells of these Pyramid Texts were thought to be useful to the dead king in the afterlife; some were recited during his burial ceremonies. The hieroglyphs in Unas' pyramid are incised in fine sunk relief and painted blue, while the ceiling of the sarcophagus chamber is covered with stars

Komsomolskaya Metro station in the Krasnoselsky District, Moscow. The station is noted for its being located under the busiest Moscow transport hub, Komsomolskaya Square. the first southern segment of the Koltsevaya line is dedicated to the victory over Nazi Germany, the northern segment is dedicated to the theme of post-war labour. Komsomolskaya, however, is a clear exception: lead designer Alexey Shchusev designed it as an illustration of a historical speech given by Joseph Stalin November 7, 1941. In this speech, Stalin evoked the memories of Alexander Nevsky, Dmitry Donskoy and other military leaders of the past, and all these historical figures eventually appeared on the mosaics of Komsomolskaya.

Textile Fragment 8th century This silk fragment depicts a mounted hunter aiming at a leaping panther in an oval roundel with scrolling vegetation. The remains of another roundel on the left side of this fragment shows that this design would have been repeated many times over a much larger piece of silk. The motif of hunters on horseback with bows and arrows originates in Sasanian Iran but made its way into Byzantine heraldry, where it was adapted and classicized. Several examples have been found in Byzantine Egypt, and later examples including Arabic inscriptions attest to the popularity of the type over several centuries.. Textile Fragment 453293
