Royal Journey Up The Seine -- The Royal launch, escorted by launches manned by specially picked sailors, going over the route on the Seine today.A rehearsal was carried out today with the vessel in which the King and Queen will make the journey up the Seine from the Quai d'Orsay to the hotel de Ville on the second day of their visit. Invention of the 1910s. A lift raft designed to carry 30 people is being tried for the first time. It's made out of 10 mm wood with oiled sailing canvas, and in waterproof bulkheads. Designed and manufactured by Edvard Källström in Oskarshamn. Juli 22 1919
