Mass Production Of U.S. Rocket Guns -- Completed rocket launchers, ready for shipment to the fighting fronts, are placed on racks (foreground) in a fighting fronts, are placed on racks (foreground) in a U.S. factory that formerly produced peace time rubber goods. Workers in the rear of the shop use mass production methods to turn out parts for the guns, which are mounted under the wings of Allied combat planes for use against enemy installations and ground troops. Way Out Of The Red Britain's Capital Projects -- British industry, fighting to cover by increased exports the gap caused by the war in the national economy, is committed to a vast programme of capital expansion. British earning-power has to be increased; and increased especially in dollars, since an important part of our food and raw material supplies can only be bought with dollars. Europe has to be put on her own economic feet and Britain has to do her share in that too. The end of E.R.R. dollar assistance in 1952 sets a deadline for all these efforts.
