Wireless Controlled Plane Launched ***** Sea During Fleet Manoeuvres -- The Queen Bee about to leave the Neptune by catapult.The wireless controlled plane Queen Bee, was launched from H.M.S. Neptune during the visit of the Home Fleet to ***** North Sea for manoeuvres off the Scottish coast. The plane ***** in the air for three hours during which time it was controlled by an officer from the bridge of the Neptune, by wireless, but failed to bring it down, and it made a perfect ***** eventually in a rather choppy sea. This photograph depicts the cargo ship Arizona Sword listing to port as it sinks in the Cape Cod Canal. On May 5, 1951, the vessel was involved in a collision with the SS Berwindvale near the east end of the canal in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Her cargo of 48,000 tons of sulphur would be successfully salvaged by midsummer. .
