The Royal yacht, 'Britannia' taken in 1909 during the reign of Edward VII. Originally commissioned by Edward when he was Prince of Wales from G. L Watson, one of the finest yacht designers of his time, the yacht had a successful racing career before being used as a crusing yacht by Edward and Queen Alexandra. Spanish Navy. Gunboat Eulalia, iron-hulled, ""Pilar"" class. It was built in the shipyard of El Ferrol. Armed with a 120 mm. Hontoria gun and a 25 mm. machine gun. The warship was laid down on 23 January 1882, being delivered to the Navy by Queen Isabella II in Seville, in a ceremony that took place on January 1883. After the handover, the new gunboat was officially tested in the Guadalquivir River. The gunboat Eulalia anchored in the port of Seville, Andalusia. Engraving by Vela. La Ilustracion Espanola y Americana (The Spanish and American Illustration), 30 March 1883.

Ed Gardner came to spare-time sailing via radio. working time, he's "Archie" of "Duffy's Tavern". Between shows he goes sailing on his yacht, "Malabar," which is moored here.
