France, ""CCC 7001"" locomotive, new French electric train engine at railway station, 1949, Europe's fastest train engine tours, France: preparing for its return trip to Paris. It inaugurated the new service between paris and tours with a demonstrating. The engine hits 100 miles per hour and recently made a record of a 71.3 miles per hour average on a 362 mile run.
