Vy Vid Sya Station 1916

The station opened for traffic 1875-12-07. In 1939, the station house was rebuilt and thereby gained a modern interior. In connection with the electrification in 1947, freight warehouse was built. The yard was also rebuilt. The station has three industrial tracks to different industries. Train with Långlok, SWB F 39. The locomotive was manufactured in 1899 by Motala Workshop, manufacturing number 199. Scrapped in 1936.

Date: 1855.While it may strike us as quaint, this scene represented modern French industry at its most advanced in 1855. Speeding down the tracks that Baldus presented with rushing perspective, trains traveling from Paris to Boulogne-sur-Mer averaged an astonishing thirty-two miles per hour and arrived at their destination in less than one-third the time required by horse-drawn coach.
