"Treaty of Paris" (1763). Definitive peace treaty, concluded between Great Britain, France and Spain. Signed in Paris on 10 February 1763 by the Duke Choiseul (France), the Marquis de Grimaldi (Spain) and the Duke of Bedford (Great Britain). The agreement led to a reorganisation of the territorial distribution of the colonies, where Great Britain was the main beneficiary. "Treaty of Lisbon" (1701). Treaty of mutual alliance between Philip V of Spain and Pedro II of Portugal, by virtue of which the Portuguese monarch was obliged to guarantee the will of King Charles II concerning the succession to the Spanish throne. King Pedro II guaranteed support for Philip V and not for the pretender Charles of Austria. Signed in Lisbon on 18 June 1701 and ratified in Madrid on 1 July of that year. First Treaty of San Ildefonso (October 1, 1777). Preliminary treaty on the territorial limits of Spain and Portugal in South America. The Portuguese crown ceded to Spain the southern half of present-day Uruguay, including Colonia del Sacramento. Also the islands of Annobón and Fernando Poo in Guinean waters. Accession by King Philip V of Spain to the Treaty of Vienna (18 November 1738) between Emperor Charles VI of Germany and Louis XV of France to end the War of the Polish Succession (1733-1735). By signing the "Treaty of The Hague" (17 February 1720), Spain acceded to the Treaty of the Quadruple Alliance, which reorganised a division of disputed territories. This treaty was ratified by King Philip V of Spain in Aranjuez on 20 May of that year.
