This workman is inspecting the dial temperature to assure that the moist phosphate is drying at the correct temperature. Florida, the world's biggest phosphate producer, gets up full steam to supply drastically needed fertilizer to enrich European crops for starving millions. In Polk County, Florida, 50% of the entire world supply of phosphate is mined.

Electric switchgear. Electrical switchgear with electrical pre-register and a row of poster was installed at many large or fairly large yard during the 1930s and 1940s. The actors themselves were given a new door handle -like design. The picture shows a newly installed switchgear in Kävlinge in 1932. The switchgear replaced partly a leverage and partly a simple plant.
