Model of the Memorial of J.F. de Friderici, 1812 The image of former governor J.F.de Friderici is the central figure. Under this figure we see a coffin flanked by death (for the viewer on the right) and a mourning man (left), with again under the family crest of the friderics. In color, this looks like this: in blue a silver skull resting on two crossed silver death bones, a golden sun at the top right and a golden six -pointed star. The figure of the friderics is flanked on the left by an eagle with three flags and a lion in a fight with a lioness. On the right we see a mourning woman and child with also three banners. On the column behind the friderici is the following text: in memory of now that the high noble strands Heere Juriaan Francois Friderici in his noble lives old Major General in services of the State of the United Netherlands Old Governor and Commandant and Cheff about the Surinaame Colonie Overweed in the age of 61 years in the Surinaame Colonie on 11 October MDCCCXII.
