Leisure and Entertainment during the Second World War The Armed Forces: The performers of a comic musical quartet which was one of the acts participating in the Far East naval review 'Tokio Express'. The quartet, 'Momentes Musicales', consists of Leading Seaman Cliff Clayton, cello; Sub Lieutenant Norman Whitehead, piano; Ordinary Seaman Ricky Johnson, tenor; and Lieutenant Arthur Lane, sousaphone. All are wearing dinner jackets and bow ties, except the pianist who is a female impersonator. They are performing here at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, London.
