The State Railways, SJ SO3 3945. Traveling in the salon. SJ Salongvagn was used as a representation trolley by SJ's Director -General and was subscribed by companies. Went for a while as a conference car with the text conference on train on the page. Litered AO3 at delivery but Littera was changed to SO3 1956. The wagon was also used in the so -called dollar train. The wagon is preserved at the Swedish Railway Museum.

Just The Thing For Queues: The shooting-stick in use in a London bus queues. A novel adoption of the pre-war shooting-stick has been invented by an invaded naval officer. The stick has a reversible ferrule, a spike for country use and a firm rubber tip for use on hard surfaces. Britain Gives World Simplified Navigation -- Adjusting portable instrument preparatory to sailing. A new system of navigation developed by a British firm and used for the first time for the British Army of Liberation D-Day invasion landings on the coast of Normandy is now being turned over to peace time uses its use in ocean liners trawlers, and private yachts transport and private planes will make sea and air travel quicker and safer. This new Navigator of which world patents are hold by Britain does not employ radar technique. First chain of transmitting stations will set up a fixed radio pattern over the North Sea and large parts of the British Isles and Europe providing and instantaneous position check for ships and aircraft. Sunlit Nights Land Cruise's train. Dollar train is a cruise train that mainly promoted foreign tourists from Stockholm to northern Sweden during the 1950s and 1960s. The train emerged as an attempt to reduce post -war currency deficiency and they were primarily aimed at strong American tourists. Train hostess on the cruise train.
