The station was opened in 1877. Two -storey station house in brick. The expedition rooms and waiting room were extended in 1905 and thus the service residence for the station manager was moved to the second floor. Mechanical gear. The station was opened on 1.9.1877. Only stop until 1881 when a provisional station house was erected. Combined post station from 15.9.1877. New station house erected in 1886, built in 1906 and further rebuilt in 1936. Lokstall for ten locomotives in 1945. Just north of the station stands the so-called Pella stone in memory of a track guard who was hit there
