From an Idea to the Screen... Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer resembles a small city, containing everything from a zoo to an electric plant. Its highly skilled employees represent not only the acting profession, but many others, including painting and architecture. The time elapsing between the inception of an idea and its ultimate picturization on the screen represents practically a year's work by 5000 people.
