A long either side run two of the main extraction ducts, large enough to take, a motor-car.It is announced by the Ministry of Supply that one wing of the new radio-chemical laboratory at the Atomic Energy research Establishment at Harwell, Berkshire, is now ready, and scientists are beginning work in it immediately.The building is the most complicated project of its kind ever undertaken on this side of the Atlantic.
