Major General Charles D. Costanza and Command Sergeant Major Quentin V. Fenderson, command team of 3rd Infantry Division, recently visited U.S. Soldiers of 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany. AUSTIN, Texas The Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force hosts 41 counterdrug task force members and instructors from 23 states and territories for the National Guard Counterdrug Programs Criminal Analyst Phase II course Sept. 13-22, 2022, at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas. This course provides advanced training in counter-narcotic criminal analysis used to assist law enforcement to detect, interdict, and disrupt drug-trafficking activities and use through the application of unique military skills and resources. According to the National Guard Counterdrug Program, Counterdrug criminal analysts provide support with link analysis, document exploitation, financial analysis and case construction for federal, state, local and tribal agencies. The focus is on the disruption of illicit drug financing, production, transportation, and distribution. NMCB-4 is homeported out of Port Hueneme, California. They train on high-quality construction, expeditionary logistics, and combat operations to execute construction and engineering projects for major combat operations, disaster response, and humanitarian assistance. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island.
