The British Reoccupation of Burma Four of the senior Japanese officer prisoners of war held at Insein near Rangoon, pass a day reading and writing in their communal billet. Held at the camp were seventeen generals, three colonels, three lieutenant colonels, five majors, three captains, five lieutenants, twenty three other ranks and one naval captain.
