Guadalupe specializes in sports nutrition and offers the class twice a month to anyone looking to increase muscle mass, decrease body fat, lose weight, increase performance or better their overall health.

ODENTON, Md. - Soldiers from the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber) hosted a Hackathon event in partnership with the Odenton Library, Anne Arundel County Public Library, September 28, to encourage teens interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). There was a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, as well as a Basic Python, Password Cracking, and an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Tools station for the teens to participate in. Staff Sgt. Jennifer Toney pays attention to the instruction offered at a first-of-its-kind Persons in Charge Course that took place Sept. 19-23 in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Toney was one of 22 students attending the five-day event in which culinary Soldiers earned a food safety certification.

The Association of Village Council Presidents recently partnered with the Alaska National Guard to provide recruiting information and resources through their Tribal Job Centers. The initiative kicked off in St. Marys with presentations from AVCP and AKNG at the Andreafski High School where representatives interacted with students, parents, teachers, and community members. AVCP provides community development, education, social services, culturally relevant programs, and advocacy for the people and 56 tribes of Western Alaska.

Hoosier Girl Scouts donated cookies to the Indiana National Guard and USO at the Indiana National Guard headquarters, Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in Indianapolis, Ind. The Indiana National Guard is tasked with distributing the cookies to armories and locations of all military branches around the state.

Members from Idahos Joint Forces Headquarters and the 124th Fighter Wing tour the Idaho Youth Challenge Academy, Oct. 21, 2022 in Pierce, Idaho. IDYCA is a state-run, quasi-military, in-residence, alternative highschool program focused on rehabilitating at-risk youth.

The 127th Wing Family Readiness Group held its annual school supply give-away, during Saturday and Sunday of August drill, at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Wing members and their dependents had the opportunity to take advantage of collecting free school supplies for their school-age children. Supplies included backpacks, notebooks, binders, and a hot of other items to best prepare their students for a successful 2022-2023 school year.

This week the Knights' Brigade started strong! The USO Baumholder hosted a story reading to the children and Families of the 16th Sustainment Brigade and those within the Garrison. Our very own, CSM Aguillen, was narrator for these stories. CSM Aguillen read a short story regarding Juneteenth to the listeners. Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. It is also sometimes referred to as America's "Second Independence Day". These events are an amazing way to interact with Families and create strong friendships within the Community!
