Recruiting Station (RS) Albuquerque recently held their Annual Pool Function from March 31, 2023 to April 1, 2023 at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, Nm. The purpose of the Annual Pool Function is to bring the Recruiting Sub-Stations together and allow their Poolees to experience first-hand some of the challenges that they will be facing during their upcoming Recruit Training. The RS also had Drill Instructors visiting from Marine Corps Recruiter Depot San Diego to assist in the daily events.

The original mile was a route taken by Soldiers from a Blackhawk helicopter crash site to a rally point held by the 10th Mountain Division on National Street during the Battle of Mogadishu on October 4, 1993.

Led by the KDF, partners ran over 5 miles stopping intermittently to do push-ups and core exercises. Justified Accord is U.S. Africa Commands largest exercise in East Africa. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), this multinational exercise brings together more than 20 countries from four continents to increase partner readiness for peacekeeping missions, crisis response, and humanitarian assistance.

The Soldiers kicked off the week-long events with the Army Combat Fitness Test, or ACFT, a test that challenges Soldiers both physically and mentally through various events. The III Armored Corps pulled only the best from across its divisions and separate brigades to compete in this years inaugural competition.
