SINGAPORE (Oct. 2, 2018) - Sailors and Marines aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) man the rails as the ship arrives at Singapore. Prior to the ship's arrival to Singapore, Wasp with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit provided Defense Support to Civil Authorities in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands following the aftermath of Typhoon Mangkhut and conducted training in the East and South China Seas. Wasp, the flagship for the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance amphibious capabilities with regional partners and to serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.

The Orion test capsule undergoes stationary recovery testing in Norfolk, VA on Aug. 13, 2013. Anchorage is deployed as part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 13th MEU. Michael Boyle, Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2022 Commander, Combined Task Force, addresses the crew of Chilean Navy frigate CNS Almirante Lynch (FF 07) on the flight deck. Twenty-six nations, 38 ships, four submarines, more than 170 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 29 to Aug. 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The worlds largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the worlds oceans. RIMPAC 2022 is the 28th exercise in the series that began in 1971.

NORFOLK, Va. (Oct. 9, 2022) - Line-handlers secure a mooring-line to the pier rendering the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) moored in Naval Station Norfolk, Oct. 9. Porter returned to Naval Station Norfolk after completing seven years of service and 11 patrols at Naval Station Rota, Spain as a Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Europe (FDNF-E) destroyer.

NORTH SEA (March 11, 2019) Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Gravely (DDG 107) handle line during a replenishment-at-sea with the German navy replenishment tanker FGS Spessart (A 1442). Gravely is deployed as the flagship of Standing NATO Maritime Group 1 to conduct maritime operations and provide a continuous maritime capability for NATO in the northern Atlantic.

Tom Dandes, Special Events Coordinator at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum (HRNM) leads a tour of the Battleship Wisconsin for a contingent of sailors from Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic. During the tour, the sailors received some historical information about the Battleship along with some meaningful interpretation. HRNM is one of ten U.S. Navy museums within the Naval History and Heritage Command. The museum is located next to the Battleship Wisconsin in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia.

Michael Murphy, a Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient who posthumously received the nation's highest military honor for bravery during combat in Afghanistan in 2005.
