The Sixth Knot”. Interlaced Roundel with Seven Wreaths 1521 before Albrecht Dürer German Embroidery pattern made up out of so-called knot work. The main pattern has a circular shape and is presented in white on a dark ground. The knotted ropes or straps form almost circular wreaths: one in the middle and six surrounding it. On all four corners another, leaf-shaped ornament has been added which sticks out of the circle. Concave Lozenge-shaped Panel and Grotesque Figures ca. 1620-30 Noël Rouillard French Small print from a series of twelve with goldsmiths designs and grotesques. This print is characterized by a large concave lozenge-shaped panel in the center. Around it two ring bezels in the top corners and two more lozenges in the lower corners are combined with six grotesques figures.
