Initiative will operate through an interagency working group, involving representatives of the Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Geological Survey, and a tribal liaison from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, as well as representatives of states with bison populations; additionally, the Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and U.S. Forest Service, along with the Department of Defense, have been invited to participate.
