Model of the Stern of a 60-Gun Frigate, Pieter Glavimans (possibly), c. 1831 demonstration model Beautifully detailed construction and waterline model of a stern. Elliptical fence of one floor, no side galleries. The upper deck has a diagonal warp in the web; On the upper deck a separate structure in which cupboards, two sex sketches of which the drain has been applied to the Wulf, and an entrance. The intermediate deck is provided with shelling with doors and windows. The whipped mast (sawn off) is on a trail on the intermediate deck. Being brusts with eight lady blocks. Straight with square roser king in triangular hennegat. The Zeeg runs slightly back, one sunken barkhout. Rotterdam (possibly) wood (plant material). brass (alloy).

This model represents the battery Neptunus, which was fitted with 32 guns. The Neptunus was origi-nally built as a ship of the line with the same name.

Model of a lifeboat on a wagon. Greathead was a boat builder from South Shields in England. After witnessing a shipwreck, around 1789 he designed an unsinkable’ lifeboat. In the Netherlands three lifeboats based on his design were built in 1806, for service on Terschelling and at Callantsoog and Ter Heijde. These were followed by a further six in 1809. The casing of the sides in cork, however, proved to be less buoyant than anticipated.

Model of a kiln with a boiler house, anonymous, c. 1800 - c. 1850 demonstration model Polychromed model of a wood stew or steam box on a ground board. Water is pumped into a reservoir by a pump, from where it is lined to the boiler house. In the cottage, two boilers with ovens underneath were built in a brick structure with a double chimney. There is some sparingly furniture, a box bed with a mattress in front of the stoker and a staircase that leads to a non -existing attic. The boilers feed steam to the steam box with two above the other rooms: one kettle feeds both rooms, the other only the bottom room. There are a few shelves in the rooms. The skin shelves were steamed in such wood stoves so that they could accept the hull shape by the trusses. A gutter connects both fire furnaces and has two branches to openings in the skin just below the lower barkwood. There are seven unknown peer -shaped objects on the lower deck. It is a box -shaped construction that can be set in two halves to show the inside. In the middle of the long front is a fireplace with underground Ashpuil. Model of a dredger. Dutch rivers and harbours constantly silt up as a result of sand carried in the water building up on the riverbed or harbour floor. Regular dredging is required to prevent waterways from becoming too shallow. Around 1800 much of this dredging was done by horse-driven mills. These horse mills’ drove a chain with dippers that scooped up the mud and silt. On the front deck of this model are the stalls for the horses.

It proposes a converted linen ship: an upper deck is arranged on the upper deck with two domes and an extendable chimney, the skin above the water line is made vertically, with the result that the elliptical stern has changed in a peak hole.
