Queen street, Westminster, for Malaya to take up his appointment as Commissioner of Police and Sombat the terrorists who planned to take over the country after widespread disorders and assassination.  Colonel Gray, formerly Palestine's Inspector General of police, recently returned from a month in Malaya where he advised on Police methods.  As a Royal Marine Commando in the last war he won the Distinguished Service order and bar, and was also decorated for his work in Palestine. August 10, 1948.
