Customs Haul. When the liner Hellenic Prince reached Melbourne, Customs men discovered these Cigarettes beneath the false bottom of a suicase, brought to Australia by a migrant. April 14, 1952.

Repairing Books For the Services- the work of the Services Central Book Depot, London, England, UK , 1944 Miss Sylvia Stewart places bricks on top of a pile of books at the repair depot of the Services Central Book Depot. Miss Stewart is the Honorary Organiser of the voluntary workers section at the Depot. These bricks are being used as weights to press the books once the covers have been repaired. The original caption states that 'bricks are hard to come by, and are labelled with the name of the volunteer who owns them'. Such identification labels can be clearly seen here, tied around the brick with string.
