British War Relief Society of America Sends Clothing To Britain, 1941 Crates of clothing from the American Red Cross and other organisations are unloaded upon arrival to Britain. The clothes are transferred into baskets and taken through to the sorting room. The crate from which the man is taking the garments is stamped to say that the contents comes from Cincinatti, Ohio.

Army Post Office- Correspondence and Mail in Wartime, England, UK, 1944 A busy scene in a disused dance hall, somewhere in the Midlands, which is now used as the Army Post Office. Sorting is underway by members of the Auxiliary Territorial Service and men who had previously sorted for the General Post Office. Mail is first sorted into the various branches of the services and then, from there, it is sorted into individual units. Large grids containing sacks are used to sort the letters and parcels into their various groups.
