The shelter is being built by the Knaust Brothers at the site of one of the World's largest areas for the cultivation of mushrooms. In the event of the use of atomic weapons the shelter would be used for the protection of valuable records, intricate machinery, historical books and prominent works of art. July 12, 1951.
